Featuring the dreamy singing and songwriting of Matilda Mård, Many Voices Speak was born in Sweden late 2016. Mård received early attention for her cover of “Blue Moon” which landed her on Billboards Emerging Artists chart.
Mård’s first single “Video Child” appeared in the Netflix drama “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” which shed more light on the project alongside touring to support the EP “Away For All Time”.
Many Voices Speak’s debut album “Tank Town” was released 2018, including the singles “Necessaries”, “I Saw You” and “Chances”. Tank Town also included the album track “Bony Shelter” which was dubbed one of the “most beautiful songs in the world” by Spotify.
The new single “Want It Kept” is set to release February 28, 2020. “Want It Kept” was produced by Petter Nygårdh, recorded in Berlin and later mixed in New York by Erin Tonkon (David Bowie, PIXX, etc).
‘Want It Kept is about regretting sacrifices made for love’, Mård explains. ‘It was written after a period of too much tendency to adjust myself to every random context, and as a reminder to myself for the future.’
The artwork for “Want It Kept” is made by Swedish visual artist Ida Davidsson. The track is released worldwide by Strangers Candy.
