The Swedish duo The Moonlight Love are Ola Sandberg of experimental act Lyrae (1631 Recordings) and Lukas Thomasson, drummer of PNKSLM signed indie rock band Hater. Their debut single “Loyal” is a first taste of their upcoming debut EP “Around Your Neck”, which is due on May 12 via Strangers Candy.
“Around Your Neck” is an assembly of equally dark and vibrant songs with the Malmö based duo creating beautiful and sincere music that puts the listener in a brittle yet comforting place. With bare, unfiltered and gloomy lyrics, listening to The Moonlight Love is an intimate experience – but at the same time it’s catchy pop songs that you’ll find yourself coming back to.
The “Around Your Neck” EP is due on May 12 digitally and on limited edition cassette via Strangers Candy.
